Accessibility Statement

At 7DOTS, accessibility isn’t a checkbox, it’s an expression of our commitment to crafting digital experiences that feel genuinely human. We believe every user, regardless of ability or circumstance, should feel seen, understood, and empowered to act.

Accessibility is embedded into how we think, design, and build - from strategic discovery to deployment. We’re not just meeting compliance; we’re designing with empathy and intent to create inclusive journeys that build trust and remove friction.

Standards We Aim to Meet

We are working towards full compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These standards guide us in shaping experiences that are perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, across all devices and technologies.

We are also actively aligning with the European Accessibility Act (Directive EU 2019/882) ahead of its 2025 enforcement, ensuring our approach reflects both UK and EU regulatory expectations.

What We’ve Built In

To date, our accessibility-forward thinking has resulted in:

  • Semantic HTML that enables seamless screen reader navigation
  • Scalable, responsive layouts that adapt to user needs
  • Strong colour contrast and descriptive alt text for richer visual accessibility
  • Internal testing focused on keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility
  • Ongoing team training around inclusive design principles.

Where We’re Still Evolving (as of July 2025)

True to our test-and-learn mindset, we’re transparent about what still needs refinement:

  • Some ARIA references are broken due to a third-party cookie consent tool. We’re collaborating with the vendor to resolve this.
  • A few legacy elements fall short on colour contrast. These are currently being optimised to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

What We’re Doing Next

Accessibility is never “done.” It’s a continuous commitment to improvement. We are:

  • Conducting both manual and automated audits across all user journeys.
  • Evaluating the accessibility impact of third-party tech stacks.
  • Fine-tuning UI elements for better legibility, responsiveness, and keyboard support.
  • Embedding accessibility checks across our future design and dev sprints.

Compliance Status

As of July 2025, this site is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. The known issues listed above are being actively addressed.

If you encounter any barriers while using our site, or have ideas on how we can improve, we welcome your feedback. Accessibility is a shared effort, and we’re here to listen and evolve.
